Habit 3 Blog: Learn to forgive (A Reflection)

The phrase forgiveness is linked to a person’s physical and emotional well-being. If a person’s heart isn’t strong enough to forgive others, he will be always angry, depressed, and anxious. This will also have an impact on his health. We will constantly have a horrible feeling inside us if we do not forgive others and harbor grudges against them. Because we have so much bitterness in our minds and hearts, we will constantly experience hatred. People who easily forgive others are much happier on the inside than those who hold grudges against others. Now a days, people prefer to stay apart from their relatives rather than forgiving them. In this fast world, everyone is so busy in work that they do not have time for each other. It’s vital to remember that confessing and apologizing for a mistake has no negative consequences.
We must forgive ourselves before we can forgive others.

We all have people in our lives who we dislike for a variety of reasons. We don’t want to speak with them because their acts have caused us harm.
Rather of ignoring them, we devise strategies to exact retribution and make them suffer the same misery that they have caused us. It’s not the proper thing to do.

We should understand that it is human nature to make mistakes as humans. In this world, no one is perfect. As a result, rather than taking the matter personally, we should forgive others with a huge heart. If we forgive others’ mistakes and clear our minds of all negative thoughts, the world will become a happier and more peaceful place to live.
